DexScope Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
DexScope is operated by mtb labs.
This Privacy Policy explains how DexScope handles information when you use the DexScope Chrome extension, DexScope account features and the public DexScope website.
For privacy questions or support, contact: chrome@mtblabs.io
1. What DexScope does
DexScope is a Chrome extension for inspecting and monitoring crypto tokens. It provides token market information, informational token checks, watchlists, alerts, public token pages and shareable token snapshots.
DexScope does not execute trades, hold cryptocurrency, or require your wallet private keys or seed phrase.
2. Token lookups and market data
When you look up or monitor a token, DexScope sends information such as the token contract address and blockchain network to the DexScope API at dx.mtblabs.io.
This information is used to retrieve and provide token information such as:
- token identity and metadata
- price and market movement
- liquidity and volume
- market capitalisation
- token age and pool information
- sparklines
- network information
- informational token checks
Token contract addresses and blockchain information are public blockchain data.
DexScope may store a public token snapshot containing market data, token metadata and informational check results.
Eligible token snapshots may be made available on the public DexScope website at https://dexscope.mtblabs.io.
Your personal watchlist identity is not displayed on these public token pages.
3. Information stored in the Chrome extension
DexScope uses Chrome extension storage to keep information required for the product to work.
Depending on the features you use, this may include:
- watchlist tokens
- favourites and recent tokens
- alert definitions
- DexScope settings
- cached token and market information
- cached gas/network information
- cached Odin insights
- a guest installation identifier used for service limits
- authentication/session information when you are signed in
This information is used to provide and maintain DexScope's user-facing features.
DexScope does not collect your general browsing history or unrelated website content.
4. Google sign-in
Google sign-in is optional.
If you choose to sign in with Google, DexScope receives the Google account information required to authenticate your account, which may include:
- Google account identifier
- email address
- name
- profile image
DexScope uses this information to create or identify your DexScope account and provide account features such as synchronisation.
When account synchronisation is enabled, supported DexScope lists and account state may be stored on DexScope servers so they can be available across sessions or devices.
DexScope does not use Google account information for advertising.
5. Paid plans and Stripe
DexScope may offer paid plans and Odin credits.
Payment processing is provided by Stripe.
Payment details used during checkout are handled by Stripe.
DexScope stores information required to manage your DexScope plan, such as Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, plan status and related billing state.
Stripe processes information under its own privacy policy and terms.
6. Odin
DexScope includes optional Odin-powered token insights.
When you request an Odin insight, token and blockchain context required to answer the request may be sent through the DexScope API to Odin.
DexScope may also use a guest installation identifier or signed-in account information to enforce current usage limits.
Odin is used only when required to provide the requested DexScope feature.
7. Token data providers
DexScope uses external data providers and services to provide token market information, blockchain information and informational checks.
Depending on the token, blockchain and feature being used, token or chain context may be processed using services including:
- DEXTools
- GoPlus
- Honeypot.is
- Etherscan
- Mímir
- Odin
These services receive information required for the relevant DexScope request.
DexScope does not send your general browsing history to these providers.
8. Public token pages
DexScope maintains a public token-information layer at:
When DexScope observes eligible tokens, market information, token metadata and informational check results may be stored and displayed on public token pages.
These pages contain token and blockchain information.
They do not display the identity of the DexScope user who originally looked up the token.
9. Shareable snapshots
If you choose to create a DexScope share, DexScope stores an immutable snapshot of the token information available at the time the share is created.
The resulting public share URL is designed to be shared on services such as X.
A share snapshot may contain:
- token name and symbol
- blockchain and contract information
- price and market information
- liquidity and volume
- market movement
- informational token-check results
- token imagery where available
Share snapshots do not include your Google account information, watchlist or DexScope account identity.
Because these pages are public, anyone with the share URL may be able to view them.
10. Public website analytics
The public DexScope website may use Google Analytics to help mtb labs understand how the website is used and to measure site performance and traffic.
Google Analytics is used on public DexScope web pages.
The DexScope Chrome extension itself does not load Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
Google processes analytics information according to Google's own privacy terms and policies.
11. Information DexScope does not collect
DexScope does not require or collect:
- cryptocurrency seed phrases
- wallet private keys
- general Chrome browsing history
- unrelated website content
- Telegram usernames or Telegram account information
DexScope does not currently connect to your wallet or execute transactions on your behalf.
12. How information is used
DexScope uses information as necessary to provide, maintain, secure and improve DexScope's user-facing functionality.
This includes:
- providing token lookups and monitoring
- maintaining watchlists and alerts
- authenticating accounts
- synchronising supported account data
- providing token checks and market information
- creating requested public shares
- providing requested Odin insights
- managing subscriptions and service limits
- preventing abuse and maintaining service reliability
DexScope does not sell extension user data.
DexScope does not use extension user data for personalised, interest-based or retargeted advertising.
13. Sharing of information
DexScope may share information with service providers where required to provide the DexScope feature you requested, operate or secure the service, process payments, authenticate your account, or comply with applicable legal requirements.
These providers may include the token-data services described above, Google for authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and Google Analytics for analytics on the public DexScope website.
DexScope does not sell user data to data brokers or advertising platforms.
14. Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
DexScope limits the use of extension user data to providing or improving DexScope's disclosed user-facing purpose and related operational, security and reliability requirements.
15. Data retention
Local DexScope information is stored in Chrome extension storage for as long as it is required by the extension or until it is removed by the user or browser.
Signed-in account and synchronised information may be retained while required to provide the DexScope account and related services.
Public token snapshots may be retained as part of DexScope's public token-information layer.
Share snapshots are designed to be immutable and may remain publicly available after they are created.
Billing and operational records may be retained where reasonably required to operate the service, maintain security, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations.
If you want to request access to or deletion of personal information associated with your DexScope account, contact: chrome@mtblabs.io
16. Security
DexScope uses HTTPS when transmitting information between the Chrome extension, the DexScope website and the DexScope API.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect account and service information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
IP addresses may be processed temporarily for service security, abuse prevention and rate limiting. They may also be used temporarily to enforce service usage limits when another installation identifier is unavailable. DexScope does not store IP addresses in its account, billing, token or share database.
17. Changes to this policy
DexScope may update this Privacy Policy when the product or its data practices change.
If DexScope introduces material changes to how extension user data is collected or used, the relevant disclosures will be updated to reflect those practices.
The latest version of this policy will be published at:
